Horrible Customer Service - Communication

Placed an order online, it has been 5 days. After multiple attempts to confirm order thru e-mail and phone, no return call or e-mail. Phone number listed is actually a fax line. Fax line is not answered. At this point I have little or no confidence that this company lives up to it's stated mission in the "About Us" section of their website below. These portions copied directly from their website are especially a joke, well an outright lie. Tactical Boot Store e-mailed to say they were sending a return authorization so I could return the boots sent in error. They also called to check up on the matter and said they would contact Wolverine World Wide, who were the people that actually mailed the wrong boots.

By the time they called, I had found another family member who wanted the men's boots and agreed to take them. I was quite satisfied with Tactical Boot Store's offer of the return authorization, though it turned out I didn't use it.

Tactical Boot Store sent wrong boots. I ordered Merrell Women's Moab Ventilator size 10's. They sent Merrell Beluga Men's Size 10. Nobody will answer e-mails or phone to arrange a return. Unfortunately, I didn't check reviews before ordering from this website, or I wouldn't have ordered from them. {{REDACTED}}

I placed an order for a pair of boots with this company. It has been 4 weeks and I have not received my boots nor a tracking number. My account was charged for the purchase immediately I have placed no less than 14 phone calls with no answer I have also sent 5 emails with no response do not purchase anything from this company. And my opinion they are a bunch of criminals and it's a shame that they do this to people

No one answered my call, nor did i receive any email response!

It has been more than a week since i ordered my shoes, and i have not received any confirmation details nor my shoes. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!

Ordered a pair of boots last almost 2 weeks ago

I ordered a pair of boots from Tactical Boots Store website almost two weeks ago and still haven't received them. I tried calling their phone number but nobody answers and they do not respond to emails I've sent them. Charged my credit card almost instantly but I still have no tracking number for my boots. I definitely DO NOT recommend their site to anybody. I think I've been ripped off completely and don't know what to do about it. I recommend going somewhere else for anything boot related. They also have an amazon account so beware of their scams! I guess i'm just gonna have to hope they come through with my boots.

Same thing happened to me and i canceled my credit card. I emailed the store, tried calling and got nothing.

Believe it or not though, boots finally got here.

It was a long wait but the store is legit though.

Do NOT order from here ordered a 10.5 ridge boot, my regular size and recieved them they were very large and contacted for return you pay the shipping and a 12.50 fee for whatever on an exchange. Took me 3 weeks to get the boot after several emails and no answered phone calls.

Then I returned them and recieved a process confirmation saying allow 1-3 days for shipping and waited TWO weeks and recieved no shipping info and no boots.

Emailed them and did not get a response for a week and then did not get the boots for another two weeks this was one and a half MONTHS after them recieving the boots I returned. All I can say is be very aware this company cares none about customer satisfaction at all, they do not care about being on any time schedule not even their own and they should not be dealt with.

No tracking number after 8 days

I ordered my husband his boots and knew it was a long shot for them to arrive before christmas and even after after 8 days I still hadnt received any tracking or shipping information. Attempting to call the company and the only phone number listed on the website is busy non stop. Ive sent numerous email inquiries to no avail! Of course there was no delay in charging my credit card but receiving the product well thats another story. I better either get a refund or free shipping. If anyone has any accurate contact information pid appreciate it if youd let me know!

Better make sure you are CLEAR on their EXCHANGE/REFUND Policies

You best be sure you will not have to exchange or return an item because these guys will ***. Wife bought me a pair of 5.11 boots for xmas. She shopped around and found this little treat of a store in Jupiter FL. Great price and Free shipping over $75. She got me the exact same boot and the same size I've worn for over 20 years. This pair was very tight and could barely get my foot in. I thought, "no big deal" I am sure they'll exchange them for a 1/2 size larger. Well turns out that for me to exchange them, I would have to ship them back on my dime which I thought kind of sucked but no big deal. Then the lady said I would have to pay another $16 to ship back. I was shocked as a lot of stores will give you free shipping to and to return, especially when you are dealing with footwear. But to hear I would have to pay a "loaded" mailing rate, I couldn't believe it. So then I said I will just return them on my dime and they can credit my account. That's when she gave me the big doosey, she said no problem, you will have to pay to ship them to us, then we will charge you a 20% restocking fee and one last thing, they were going to deduct another $16 to cover their original free shipping charge. Do the math, absolutely absurd. So hang up with them and very frustrated so I did a little bit of "Googling". Reviewed BBB website, first time I've ever researched a company and saw a Grading of "F". Opps!! Big mistake. I tell my wife this and she said she was not told any of this when she bought them and ironically, it took 2 weeks for them to deliver them in the first place. She said she got them on Xmas eve, 2 weeks after she ordered them. Bottom line, this place sucks and should you venture to but from them, better make sure you will not have to exchange or return an item. Happy Ending: I call 5.11 directly. They told me if I shipped the boots back to them, they would exchange them at no cost for shipping. They pointed out that this schlep owner isn't a licensed vendor of their and she said they get a lot of complaints. Buyer Beware!!

Ordered Converse Boots received inferior Reeboks

received the Reebok version of the Converse boot and your statement below "some minor changes to the outside of the boot (for logo purposes) but the fit and quality will remain the same" is a complete lie. On first glance these *** boots look like the Converse boot but after wearing them it becomes obvious it's not the same boot but a cheap, poorly made, inferior version of Converse. I put this *** Reebok boot next to the Converse boot and there are many major differences. The toe of the Reebok boot is not smooth but has deep indentations that look like it was hit with a hammer. The sides are not smooth either because the material has puckered. The tongue of the shoe is all bunched up and doesn't cover the front of your foot so you can actually see your socks which means if you walked in rain your socks will get wet because the shoe isn't covering your foot. The zipper handle is much smaller than the Converse and the zipper looks really cheap no doubt it won't last. The Reebok is abnormally wide, I ordered a medium and my foot has about an extra inch of shoe on both sides of my foot. This Reebok boot looks like a clown shoe imitation of the Converse boot. Furthermore, the Reebok boot is extremely uncomfortable because the part of the boot that goes around your ankle is extremely small and very tight but the shoe is so very wide your foot moves around in it. I absolutely HATE this Reebok boot and I am disappointed in Tactical Boot Store for pawning this ridiculous boot off as equal to the Converse boot.
